Recently I have seen an endless list of Top 10s, Top 100s, and the like. Seeing what individuals classify as their top [insert passion], it inspired me to think about what have been influential items in my own history. The idea came to categorize music, likely because I was listening to one of my own influential albums.

Here I have categorized my Top 100 Albums based on my interaction with them (alphabetically by the year I first listened to them). This is by no means an exhaustive list, and in many cases, I have indicated the album that was my gateway into exploring an entire catalogue of an artist, (i.e. Ani Difranco, The Cure, Madonna, Gossip, etc). I hope that this list allows others to find new items for themselves to enjoy.

In the future I hope to write a piece on each album, and how they influenced me with time. I have indicated the country of origin for each artist for interest.
